1. Before You do Anything Else, Put it Away!
When food is out of sight, it’s out of mind.
If there’s food left over from cooking, put it in the fridge straight away – you’ll be less likely to pick.
I grew up in a family where we ate well. We weren’t unhealthy, we weren’t health-nut’s or anything either, don’t get me wrong, but there was always plenty to eat… and I mean plenty!
So, snacking after dinner was always a bad habit of mine.
When you’ve finished cooking. As soon as you’ve finished. Before you do anything else, before you even sit down to eat your dinner, tidy the kitchen and put any extra food away!
